I would really love to go to New York City. Most of my friends have been there and shown me pictures and it seems like a really fun city. A big reason I want to go would be because of  the shopping. I would expect there to be huge malls and really nice clothes. When you see movies about people in New York they always have really fancy clothes on. It even seems like every one who is just walking on the street seems to have really nice clothes on. The clothing they wear in Maryland compared to New York does not seem to even be in the same category. I would also like to go there to see a show. I enjoy musicals so maybe something on Broadway. But not like an opera or anything. I don’t think I really care what time of the year I would go there. I like to wear winter clothes more than summer clothes but it would definitely be more convenient to go in the summer because it would be nicer to walk around.  I would also like to visit some historical places like the statue of liberty and the Empire State building and I would like to take a visit to the wax museum too! There is also a neat little thing called the New York Skyride. This is a free virtual tour of New York from the point of view from the eyes of a helicopter. That way I could learn more about New York and I could see what places I wanted to go to. Another place I would like the go to is the 9/11 tribute center. It would be nice to pay my respects to the people that lost their life and the families and friends that lost a loved one. Besides all these interesting places that I have blabbed about I would also like to go to at least one more place in New York. This one is the biggest of my wishes. Okay are you ready? I want to go to...THE HARRY POTTER EXHIBIT. I'm not embarrassed to say I'm a huge fan! This exhibit, which is at Discovery Times Square, give people a closer look into the making of the Harry Potter movies. It shows how they made some of the props, how they made the scenes come to life, and a lot of other cool stuff. So that is my dream trip for a place to go to that is in the United States. Hopefully one day I will go!
